This was my first try at a custom width by mail order from Dance Shoes store. Though I can make them work, I have to say the shoe''s sole extends way further out than my toes and I''ve never had that problem with any open-toed shoe. Granted I may have gotten them a half-size bigger than I needed to, but they are the size I would normally wear. The length of the shoe seems more than a size 8. And I can''t understand why they stick out an inch past my toes, so they catch the floor when I walk. I will have to see if I can get that excess cut off by a shoe repair shop.
