Beautiful but the slits make them uncomfortable

These shoes are beautiful. However, I have trouble with my little toe sticking out the open slit in the shoe. Often I've had to stop mid-dance to correct it. I've decided not wear them in my exhibition dance in two weeks. I'm going back to my previously ordered shoes that are not as attractive, but have a closed toe. It's safer.
