Cute, but painful

I loved the last pair of shoes that I bought from this company and forced myself to get something new. These shoes arrived very timely and were true to size. They felt supportive and I liked the style a lot. However when dancing about an hour, the black scale material cut into my toes and into the bridge of my foot. The material is quite stiff and the black scale material is all the way up to the edges of the straps and bands. I tried dancing in it a couple more times and the material does not seem to be softening. I am going to try black electrical tape over the edge to see if that helps, but I wouldn't recommend the shoe over-all. I saw that there was a tan satin version and this may not cause the same issues, but I can't say for sure.

These shoes fit super small. I usually wear 8.5 in Very Fine shoes, but I could barely get my feet into these at all. I sold them to a friend who wears 7.5 normally and they fit her much better than me! The elastic across the top of the foot is not adjustable so if you have high arches it makes it hard to get into these. They were super cute but just didn't fit.
